Who are we?
LCEA Alumni are graduates of the Lansdown Centre for Electronic Arts,
a post graduate research centre at Middlesex University in the UK.
Many alumni have set up their own new media businesses and consultancies.
Other alumni careers include graphic design, interactive media design,
new media research, game design, web site development and design,
animation, teaching, film making, audio design, journalism and various management
roles.
LCEA alumni have a good record for winning new media awards, including
BAFTAs, Milia, BIMA and others.

Digital Fringe is a festival held in Melbourne, Australia, accessible to emerging and established artists, particularly those working in new media. First run in 2006, this years festival Starts on 24th Sept and finishes on 12th Oct.

A neat little online application that generates word clouds from words you supply it. Created by Jonathon Feinberg a senior IBM software engineer. Even in its current basic state, Wordle has a lot of potential.
You are able to tweak the fonts, colours, layouts etc.
Here are some i made after switching on Java in my browser. It helps a lot if you have Java switched on!

LCEA postgraduate research student Laurent Cozic has been awarded an MPhil for his project 'Automated Cinematography in Video Games'. Laurent has also been busy producing web and desktop widgets such as Clipboard Washer, Countdown Timer, Time Vault and Youtube Air Widget.
