During the court scenes of crime dramas such as Law and Order, I see the odd juror doodling something and I always wonder what they could be jotting down. Yes, I know it’s make belief for television but still, you get to wondering what could be more important than listening to the testimony of someone who’s entire life you hold the key (or apart of the key) to.

So let’s browse through The American Gallery of Juror Art (http://jurylaw.typepad.com/photos/juror_art/elizabeth_perry.html) and be amazed at what those jurors are really up to diddling on their laps. Some of the sketches featured (although there are a few photographs too) are quite beautiful. Let’s hope that when it came to deliberation time, these jurors had their full attention on the matter at hand.
