Skydiving myth? Can you talk or yell during a freefall?

Despite what you’ve seen in movies like Point Break and Cutaway, you simply can't hear another skydiver during a freefall. It may be different if you were to into their ears. Even so, you may only be able to hear a little but you most definately won't be able to have any type of conversation.

The wind traveling past your ears will be in excess of over 100 mph. And that makes you pretty much deaf to everything else but the whizzing sound.

It would also be very hard to fight during a freefall...just so y'know!
